Wow! How the year has flown by! I can't believe 2010 is right around the corner. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I had a fantabulous one with my wonderful hubby and son! We also spent time with family.

Congratulations to my sweet hubby!

My hubby just graduated from the Gwinnett Fire Academy! I was able to pin on his sheild! I am so proud of him!! Here are some pictures from his graduation. Congratulations sweetie...and all of you who graduated with him. Stay safe everyone!!

I had a wonderful time at the Weller wedding last Saturday! It was a beautiful wedding at Anthony's in Buckhead. There was wonderful people, great food and lots of dancing!! I always love sharing in the memories of those wonderful moments!

It's Fun to Be One

Sorry the posts are so far apart as far as updates. My computer is now in the shop. It decided to stop turning on Friday. They said it will be about a week before I get it back. I will try to keep updates on here while it is being fixed.

I had a fun Christmas session yesterday morning with 3 fun-loving brothers. They had 4 changes of clothes, one which was Christmas pajamas! It was a lot of fun. It goes to show that Christmas is for kids of ALL ages, not just the little ones. I will have some images from the session posted as soon as I can. They look great!

I also had a BLAST yesterday night. We took our 2 year old son up to NC to ride the Polar Express train. My husband, my parents, my sister and her husband all went with us also. There was singing, dancing on the train, hot chocolate, pajamas and so much more!! I even got to dance with Santa!! We had so much fun! Carter (my son) loved it! I do have pictures from there also, just hoping my computer gets fixed soon so I can get them posted. :)

Christmas portraits

Don't forget to call and make your appointment for your Christmas portraits. There is still time to get your cards and prints back for the holidays. These make GREAT gifts! Sessions are $25 (that's 1/2 off the session fee). You can bring a change of clothes if you would like also. Have some family portraits made in your casual attire and then maybe have the children wear their pajamas in a few. Sessions can take up to an hour. I make sure to take the time needed to get those perfect images for you, and to give children time to warm up and have their true personalities show. Call for your appointment at 678-614-5076. Oh yea, pets are welcome too! (Limit 2-3 pets per session - limitations may apply depending on type of pet.)

I went to a wedding in Oklahoma this past weekend and had a great time! I just finished going through all the pictures I took. The wedding was my cousin's. It was a beautiful wedding! It was great to see everyone again! Here are a few pictures I took. I just had my little camera with me, but got a few good ones.

Wow! Weekends are really filling up fast for the Christmas portrait sessions. The weekends with availabilities are:

Sunday, November 15 at 2PM, 3PM and 4PM

Saturday, November 21 at 8AM, 9AM and 10AM

Sunday, November 22 at 2PM, 3PM, 4PM and 5PM

Saturday, November 28 is open

Sunday, November 29 at 2PM, 3PM and 4PM

Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday Dec. 6 (after 1PM) are open.

Weekday sessions are still available also. Can't wait to hear from you!

Halloween

I had a blast photographing all the children in their costumes! The special went pretty good. I ended up really liking how the set-up looked. Here a few of the images from Halloween.

Of course, once the evening rolled around, it was back into Mommy mode. I took my son out trick-or-treating and he had a blast. He loved the concept of getting candy for saying " Trick-or treat."

Halloween/Fall Special is almost here!!

Only four days left until the Halloween/Fall special! I can't wait to see all the kids (and adults) in their fun costumes! Walk-ins are welcome. The hours are from 9AM-5PM. Background includes haybales, pumpkins, gords, scarecrows and more.

I had a wonderful weekend with family. Unfortunately, I had a cancelation due to sicknesses. Still a wonderful weekend. My whole family (my mom and dad, my sister and her husband, my hubby, son and I) all went to Stone Mountain for the pumpkin festival. Yes, Carter and I went again. :) Carter was so excited to have everyone there. We went on the "Ride the Ducks" attraction, played in the Barn and on the playground, and just had fun together. You gotta love fun times with family.

I am now getting ready for my Halloween special. I will be taking photos of all the kids (and adults) in their costumes on Halloween from 9AM-5PM. I will have corn stalks, hay bales, pumpkins, scarecrows and more as my background. Packages start at $15. Call for an appointment.

My wedding portrait session went great this past weekend! The images turned out looking wonderful!! I still can't believe she is married. I have known her since she was 4 years old! Crazy how time flies. Here are a couple of images from our session.

Today I had a wonderful day with my sweet boy Carter. We went to the pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins. We went on a hayride, got to see some goats and other animals, and rode on a cow train. So much fun. Tomorrow I have a session with a couple who are dressing back in their wedding attire for some pictures of just the two of them. I feel honored. Can't wait. I've known this girl since she was 4 years old!!

Just finished up with a session of a sweet little 2 1/2 year old girl. She did great! I have a little break before my next session and am getting ready to set up my background for my Christmas portraits! Yes, I know it's early, but I am taking a few portraits early to use for my advertisements and promotions. I will be doing Christmas portraits in November. Dates coming soon!! Make sure to keep an eye out for it. We fill up fast!

I have published the images from my recent wedding I photographed for the couple and their family! Yea! They were so excited to see them. A few are now posted on my website in the Weddings gallery.

I had a blast with my sweet boy yesterday at Stone Mountain Park! We got to play on the playground, play in the water and then we went to the Pumpkin Festival! Carter got to paint a pumpkin, ride the train and more! So much fun. Now I am getting ready to go and watch Toy Story/Toy Story 2 with my favorite guys...Carter and hubby Jason!! This is Carter's first time going to the theater. Exciting!

I have had a full day of computer time with images. :) I can't wait to show the bride and groom their images. I am also trying out new lighting techniques to get some different lighting effects to portraits.

I am also getting ready for my fundraiser for all those who were effected by the recent floods. It will begin tomorrow and last through Sunday. If you are interested in participating, you get a session and an 8x10 for $25. $20 goes to the Metropolitan Atlanta Red Cross. Call 678-614-5076

I just got home from photographing a wedding. The wedding was beautiful!! I always love being able to celebrate and help capture this special time with the bride and groom and their families! Boy, what a day it has been. I did a session for a couple through Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep this morning. She was the sweetest little girl. We got some great images of her and with her parents. She has a terminal illness and the parents wanted some portraits together. The session went very well and we were able to get some great images!!

I am now preparing for a wonderful wedding tomorrow!! Can't wait!! Here's a picture of the happy couple. :)

My son and I just went and had some fun pictures taken together by a friend of mine who is also a photographer. We were just having fun. I had to go by her house to pick up some things, and she decided to let us take pics. Thanks Jill!! I always love having pics with my sweet baby boy!!

I just got back from a fabulous trip to Jekyll Island for the GPPA convention. We had wonderful speakers there! I got some great new ideas to incorporate into my work. I can't wait! While I was there, I got to see the release of 3 sea turtles back into the wild. It was so cool to see.
